Voxel TV

Had fun recently experimenting with depth maps and how you can apply them to videos. For this project I thought it’d be neat to take music videos and turn them into little voxel sculptures you can explore during playback.

Voxel TV samples the color from each video frame along with pre-generated depth data ( Thanks to Depth Anything V2 )

You can drag around the scene, zoom in and out, adjust how chunky the voxels are, and toggle the TV cabinet on and off.
